:: Born and raised in Hermannstadt / Sibiu in the heart of central Romania, the German artist Klaus S. Henning has been living in Germany and in Canada since the late 80’s pursuing a career in electrical engineering and project management.

:: As a craftsperson and artist, he is mostly self-taught and is influenced by his surroundings and travels across Europe, North-America, Asia and more specifically to Canada, Romania, Turkey, Israel and India. Klaus is a photographer since more than two and a half decades as well as does drawings and paintings for about 30 years concentrating his efforts on china ink, collage and stained glass ('Tiffany')-style drawings. In the past couple of years Klaus added ceramic sculpting to his mix of interests.

:: In 2012 - 2014, Klaus spent 13 + 6 months in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (Korea) and in the Province of Songkhla (Thailand) ... and absorbed many vibrant cultural impressions from these magnificent Asian countries. As the very latest expat experience in 2014 - 2015, Klaus could add Calgary, AB (Canada) to his inspiring locations on this planet. The artist currently lives in Erlangen, Germany.

:: A great influence and inspiration to his artistic work in the past 15 years derives from the private Collection of Native Fine Art called "The 4-Continents Collection" that Klaus co-founded in Montréal, QC, Canada back in the year 2001 and has now grown to include over 150 objects from Africa, Asia, The Americas and Europe.

:: Calendar publishing projects: Since the year 2011, the artist published under the same brand name "4-Continents" several Wall Calendars with different artistic themes:

:: Photobooks: Klaus' photo works can be also reviewed in Paper Prints or eBook format. Visit the partnering Online bookstore for a preview and for additional information.
